Welcome to Derriere de Soie – a bra fit and intimate apparel boutique serving Charlottesville, VA and the surrounding area. We are committed to being a resource for fabulous lingerie and bras – and are diligently working to increase the size range we have in stock. In 2016, shop manager and long-time fitter, Megan Giltner, purchased the store.  In 2020 we made a big leap – moving our Charlottesville location to a beautiful community of shops and restaurants on West Main Street – complete with attached parking lot, which is very exciting to us.

Our store is open via appointments, which may be booked online, and via walk ins during our regular hours – though an appointment can be very helpful to minimize any wait time. Appointments help us serve you best by allowing ample time to focus on your needs. If for some reason you’d prefer to be the only client we see, or have health concerns – please reach out via email, as we’re able to make some accommodations to give you a more private experience.

Because we feel that bra fittings are best done in person, we offer a limited online shopping experience. We think we serve our customers best when we can provide personalized service in the shop, but we are always available via phone if you need us to ship something (follow us on instagram to see new products as they arrive). If you’d like to treat someone to the gift of a bra fitting and some fabulous new things, give us a call – we can set an appointment time, and help you purchase a gift card over the phone.
